How Did Romeo And Juliet Die
Romeo kills himself by drinking poison. Juliet kills herself by sticking a dagger into her chest.
Shakespeare’s play is a Greek tragedy. True to its form, the play ends in tragedy. Romeo is told that Juliet is dead when in reality she was only drugged. Romeo kills himself because he is convinced that his love is dead. Juliet revives from the drug and discovers Romeo died. She then kills herself.
This is beautiful Greek tragedy at its best.
